As if Lake Lanier isn’t already unlucky enough, witnesses have spotted an alligator looming in the waters. Georgia’s Department of Natural Resources says they’re keeping their eye out for the alligator for now.
Fisherman Mike O’Neal and Harold Grizzle saw the alligator on Sunday.
“It is an alligator!” Mike O’Neal shouted, they immediately notified the DNR.
We advise all visitors to keep a safe distance between the alligator if seen.
