The Atlanta Braves are one loss away from elimination after falling 3–1 to the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3 of the National League Division Series on Tuesday night at Truist Park.
Los Angeles now leads the best-of-five series 2–1. Atlanta must win Game 4 Wednesday night to force a deciding Game 5 in Los Angeles, according to WSB-TV’s Associated Press game report.

Yamamoto shut down Atlanta
Dodgers starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto struck out 10 over seven innings, allowing only four hits and one walk. Atlanta ace Chris Sale gave up three runs and seven hits in five innings.
Kiké Hernández hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning, and former Braves star Freddie Freeman followed with a solo shot to make it 3–0.
Atlanta’s only run came in the fifth when Drake Baldwin’s bases-loaded groundout scored Mauricio Dubón.
One game to save the season
The Braves threatened again in the ninth when Ozzie Albies doubled to open the inning, but he was stranded at third.
Right-hander Tyler Mahle is expected to start Game 4 for Atlanta against Tyler Glasnow. A Braves win would send the series back to Dodger Stadium; a loss would end Atlanta’s season.
