On Monday, Prom Committee members Mareshia Rucker, Quanesha Wallace and Brandon Davis joined HuffPost Live to explain how it all went down. They also shared their favorite moment of the night: a unity circle dance set to Rihanna’s song “Stay.” The students said they have received no backlash over the evening and intend to do what they can to make sure it’s a tradition that continues next year.
