Atlanta’s Beltline Lantern Parade returns Saturday, September 19, with a route nearly half a mile longer than in previous years.
The procession will begin near Beulah Colbert Park, formerly Adair Park II, travel onto the Southwest Trail and end at Lee + White, according to the Beltline’s September 9 announcement.

When to arrive
Lineup begins at 7:15 p.m., with the main parade stepping off at 8 p.m. The finale is expected around 9–10 p.m.
Families can start earlier at Pittsburgh Yards: children’s programming runs from 4–7 p.m., with a kids’ parade at 4:30 p.m.
Bring a lantern
Participants need a lantern to walk in the main parade. Pets are not allowed along the parade route, and flying lanterns and drones are prohibited.
Organizers encourage alternative transportation. Check the official announcement for event updates and transportation information before heading out.
