Gwinnett County police are investigating a shooting outside a Buford apartment complex that left one man dead and two other people injured Saturday morning.
Officers responded near the 1400 block of Laurel Crossing Parkway and found three people who had been shot. An adult man died from his injuries, while two additional victims were taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not immediately released.
Police say incident appears isolated
Investigators said the shooting appears to have been an isolated incident and that they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the surrounding neighborhood.
Police had not publicly released the deceased victim’s identity, a possible motive or information about any suspects as of the latest update.
