Gwinnett County police say a triple shooting at a Buford apartment complex stemmed from an armed robbery, and one of the injured men is now in custody on multiple felony charges.
Officers responded near 1400 Laurel Crossing Parkway on Saturday morning and found three men who had been shot. One man died at the scene, while two others were taken to a hospital.

Police identify those involved
In an update, detectives identified the deceased man as 23-year-old Marvin Wiley of Atlanta. Police said their investigation determined that Wiley was one of the alleged participants in the armed robbery.
Ortagus Bennett was found wounded by responding officers and transported to a hospital. Police said he was in stable condition when the update was released.
Detectives also obtained arrest warrants for E’imod Sanchez Toboris Taylor, who was injured during the incident. Taylor is in custody and faces charges of felony murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies.

Investigation remains active
Gwinnett police described the shooting as an isolated incident and said there was no known ongoing threat to the public. Detectives continued processing evidence, interviewing witnesses and reviewing any available information connected to the case.
All charges are allegations. Taylor is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
