Chick-fil-A has no plans to introduce AI voice ordering at its drive-thrus, according to Gray News’ October 7 account of a CNBC interview with CEO Andrew Cathy.
The report describes Cathy’s preference for human interaction when customers order. It also says the company is exploring AI behind the scenes, so the comments should not be read as a companywide rejection of the technology.
The account concerns the chain’s ordering approach, not a change announced for one Georgia restaurant.
