A Marietta defense attorney faces three pandering counts and one sexual-battery count after a Georgia Bureau of Investigation inquiry, the Georgia Attorney General’s Office announced.

Attorney General Chris Carr’s office said prosecutors filed a formal accusation in Cobb County Superior Court on August 28. Curry, 77, is accused of soliciting sexual acts from a client. The September 8 state announcement lists three counts of pandering and one count of sexual battery.

The GBI’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit investigated the case. State officials said Curry was taken into custody on April 29. The Attorney General’s Office did not release additional details about the evidence or the circumstances underlying each count.
