Two boys were killed and two women were wounded in a shooting Sunday on North Hairston Road in DeKalb County, police said. Investigators are still working to determine what led to the violence and whether an earlier disagreement was connected.

An 11-year-old died at the scene
Police found an 11-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 12-year-old boy was taken to a hospital in critical condition and later died.
A 19-year-old woman and a 39-year-old woman were also taken to a hospital. Police listed both women in stable condition in the initial update.
No suspect has been announced
Investigators said preliminary evidence suggests the shooting may have followed a fight or disagreement earlier in the day. That connection remains part of the investigation and should not be treated as a final determination of what happened.
Authorities had not publicly identified a suspect or announced an arrest in the initial reporting. The names of the children and injured women were also not released.
