The Atlanta Falcons finally broke through Thursday night, rolling past the Green Bay Packers 35–14 at Lambeau Field for their first win of the 2026 season.
Atlanta entered Week 3 at 0–2 and had not run a single offensive play in the red zone through its first two games. Against Green Bay, the offense flipped that script with 498 total yards, 242 rushing yards and 35 points, according to the Falcons’ official postgame breakdown.
Bijan Robinson led the way with a career night. He rushed 29 times for 194 yards and two touchdowns and finished with 213 yards from scrimmage. Drake London added nine catches for 194 yards, giving Atlanta two players who each cleared 190 yards in the same game.
Michael Penix Jr. also made his season debut after returning from the knee injury that ended his 2025 campaign. Penix completed 18 of 25 passes for 256 yards, one touchdown and one interception. After starting 1-of-5, he completed 17 of his final 20 attempts, including a touchdown pass to Austin Hooper before halftime.
Atlanta’s defense and special teams helped turn the game, too. Zach Harrison blocked a Green Bay field-goal attempt late in the second quarter, and the Falcons held the Packers to just 17 rushing yards. Green Bay’s 13-game winning streak in home openers also came to an end.
The result moves both teams to 1–2. Atlanta’s next game is on the road against the New Orleans Saints on Monday, Oct. 5.
