The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has announced a sixth arrest in the investigation into last month’s mass shooting at Carolyn Crayton Park in Macon.
Deputies said Jaylen Williams, 18, was interviewed Tuesday and charged with 11 counts of aggravated assault as a party to a crime. FOX 5 reported Williams is being held without bond.

The shooting wounded 12
The shooting happened around 12:06 a.m. Sept. 27 near the park’s skate area after investigators say a fight between two groups escalated into gunfire.
The 12 victims included teenagers and young adults. Authorities previously said two of the victims were critically injured.
Investigation remains active
Williams is the sixth person charged, but the sheriff’s office has not said the case is closed or that no additional arrests are expected.
The new charges are allegations. Prosecutors will still have to prove the case in court, and the investigation into who fired which shots and what role each person played remains ongoing.
