TaskRabbit Offers a ‘Holiday Helper’ on #WhyNotWednesday and the Holiday Season

By Rick Limpert @RickRoswell · On December 15, 2015

With all of the holiday planning, everyone wishes they had some extra hands. So on December 16, as a part of this week’s #WhyNotWednesday from Verizon, customers can get an entire person to help with their holiday tasks.

Verizon and TaskRabbit, a simplified way to digitally request help with your household errands, will fulfill your holiday tasks this Wednesday in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Atlanta, Boston, Denver, Seattle, Portland and Houston. All you have to do is tweet to @Verizon with your holiday tasks including gift wrapping, holiday shopping and cleaning before your big holiday party.

 Here’s how it works:

  • On Wednesday December 16, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST, @Verizon followers will be prompted to tweet their holiday tasks using #WhyNotWednesday.
  • Verizon will tweet back details of the Taskers available in your area to complete the holiday tasks.
  • Taskers (branded in Verizon TaskRabbit t-shirts) will arrive for a 2 hour task (including travel time)

Verizon’s #WhyNotWednesday program surprises customers with real world experiences, cool apps and new technology, each week. Last week, Verizon customers got to send handwritten cards through Handwrytten and with partners such as iHeart Radio and NFL, customers will continue to get access to epic real-time experiences.
