Brookhaven’s dining scene will come together under one ticket when Taste Brookhaven returns on Thursday, October 1. The event takes place at Brookhaven City Centre, with tastings, entertainment and a fundraising component benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

This is a 21-and-older event, not a family street festival. The official event website lists the venue at 4001 Peachtree Road NE and suggests cocktail attire. Organizers have announced a restaurant lineup spanning barbecue, Italian, Caribbean, Indian and other cuisines.

Who is participating?

The lineup reported by Rough Draft Atlanta includes Fox Bros Bar-B-Q, HAVEN, Henri’s Bakery & Deli, Marlow’s Tavern, The Ashford and Valenza. Other participants include Chico Cantina, EATaliano Kitchen, Jerk’s Caribbean Grill, Moon Indian Cuisine Atlanta, Petite Violette and Siren.

The range gives guests a way to compare several local kitchens without arranging separate reservations. Bakery, gelato and coffee participants add possibilities beyond savory tastings. A restaurant’s presence on the roster does not confirm which dish it will serve, so the event should not be treated as a promise of every restaurant’s full menu.

What the two ticket levels include

Georgia Magazine’s event notice lists general admission at $125 and VIP at $250. General admission includes restaurant tastings, cocktails and mocktails, entertainment and entry into the deluxe raffle.

VIP adds early access, a rooftop pre-reception under the City Centre’s Cherry Blossom Dome, a premium bar, a gift bag and complimentary valet parking. The pre-reception is scheduled for 5:30–6:30 p.m. The main tasting window is reported as 6:30–9:30 p.m. by the North Atlanta Star.

For two guests, those posted prices come to $250 for general admission or $500 for VIP before any additional checkout charges. The upgrade makes the most sense when the extra hour and added amenities matter to your group—not simply because the higher-priced ticket is presented first.

The beneficiary is Strong4Life

The restaurant-lineup announcement identifies Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Strong4Life program as this year’s beneficiary. Rough Draft describes its work around nutrition, activity, emotional wellness and other healthy habits, including support delivered through schools, early-care settings and pediatric practices.

The event combines that charitable purpose with a dining showcase. A raffle entry offers a chance at a prize, not a guaranteed return. Anyone who needs documentation about a purchase or contribution should request it from the organizer instead of assuming the entire ticket price has a particular tax treatment.

Plan the tasting instead of rushing every table

Take an initial look at the participating restaurants and choose a few you especially want to try. Leave room for unfamiliar options rather than spending the entire evening repeating one favorite. Make a note of the places you would return to for a full meal; a tasting can be a starting point for exploring the neighborhood afterward.

Guests with allergies or dietary restrictions should contact the organizer in advance and ask participating staff about individual samples. A cuisine label does not establish ingredients or preparation conditions. Confirming those details is more useful than assuming that every table will have an appropriate alternative.

Before purchasing

Use the ticket link on the official event website, confirm the ticket tier and arrival time, and review the final total and refund terms. Plan the journey home before the first drink. VIP’s included valet should not be confused with a parking benefit attached to every admission level.

The indoor-and-outdoor format makes comfortable footwear a sensible part of the evening, even with cocktail attire suggested. Save the organizer’s updates for any lineup or schedule changes. Details here were checked September 17, 2026; the photographs are clearly labeled restaurant archives, not coverage of an event that has already happened.
