The city of Vienna has imposed a temporary nighttime curfew after a mass shooting at a crowded homecoming-weekend block party killed two people and injured 35 others.
Mayor Eddie Daniels declared a state of emergency Monday. CBS Atlanta reported the curfew runs from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and from midnight to 6 a.m. on weekends for the duration of the emergency order.

More than 1,000 people were at the gathering
The shooting happened early Sunday on Pine Street during a gathering that drew more than 1,000 people. Authorities identified the two people killed as Ja’Quavion Aderious Jackson, 21, and Macaleb Malik Jackson, 23.
The injured ranged in age from 14 to 51. Investigators say more than 50 shots were fired across at least two locations during the chaos.
No arrests announced
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is leading the case with local and state law-enforcement support. Authorities have not announced an arrest or publicly identified a motive.
The block party was not school-sponsored and did not have a city permit, officials said. The curfew includes exemptions for work, medical emergencies, transportation and other approved activities.
