2017 Atlanta Santa Speedo Run Set for Dec 9

By Rick Limpert @RickRoswell · On December 4, 2017
The 2017 Atlanta Santa Speedo Run benefiting Bert’s Big Adventure is ready for another year of fun, running and giving back. The 9th annual “wear a little, give a lot” run on Saturday, December 9 at 2 p.m., will feature hundreds of runners coming together in Midtown at Hudson Grille to run a mile in their Speedos and holiday-inspired swimwear.

All proceeds from the Atlanta Santa Speedo Run will support the work of local charity Bert’s Big Adventure, which is a nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families.

Registration is now available at http://www.atlantasantaspeedorun.org.

The Atlanta Santa Speedo Run (ASSR) is modeled after the highly successful (and original) Santa Speedo Run in Boston. Despite our milder climate, we brought this incredible event to Atlanta. On December 12, 2009, the inaugural Atlanta Santa Speedo Run took place in Virginia-Highland with 180 runners raising $42,000 for our first beneficiary, CHRIS Kids. The ASSR, now in its ninth year, has raised over half a million dollars for local charitable organizations. Don’t miss the 9th Annual Atlanta Santa Speedo Run slated for Saturday, December 9th at the Hudson Grille in Midtown!
