3 New Menu Items at Hooters for March Madness

By Rick Limpert @RickRoswell · On March 20, 2015

Atlanta-area Hooters restaurants have always been popular haunts for college hoops fans during March Madness, but the powers-the-be at the place famous for Hooters Girls have taken it to a new level with three new menu items that will surely keep you coming back for all the last-second shots and slam dunks.

“For the love of hoops, Hooters Girls and hot wings—where else are you rewarded for playing hooky throughout college basketball season?” said Andrew Pudduck, vice president of marketing, Hooters. “Gather around Hooters high definition TVs and enter to win exclusive sports adventures, and you’ll be so close to the tourney action you might find yourself sitting courtside at the college championship game.”

Get you appetite ready for these delicious creations and you can even win prizes and more in the process.

Bacon-Wrapped Wings

These are simply, Hooters naked chicken wings wrapped in bacon, tossed in signature Daytona sauce and finished off on the grill.

“A colleague and I were working one day in the kitchen sampling different wing sauces and we got talking about how much we love bacon – and we just hit on Bacon wrapped wings,” said Gregg Brickman, executive chef, Hooters of America.

Hooters Beer Cheese and Pretzels

You just can’t stop eating these pretzels. This choice features a creamy blend of cheeses infused with stout beer and served up with salted warm Bavarian pretzels.

Porky’s Revenge

This is for the real hoops fan. Porky’s Revenge is a half-pound, all-beef hot dog smothered in Hooters chili, shredded cheeses and fresh jalapenos. Yum!

If you are fan of Hooters classic menu, try the Hooters 12 Pack deal, six boneless and six bone-in wings, is available for $9.99 for a limited time at participating locations. If you’re thirsty after those delicious eats, pair any menu item with an ice cold beverage or one of Hooters signature Hooterade cocktails.
