Celebrate the Braves’ final season playing at Turner Field with Atlanta Track Club at the Braves Country 5K. This family friendly event offers something for everyone, including a one mile race and 50 meter dash for those less interested in running or walking 5 kilometers. If you are still on the fence on whether to register, here are ten more reasons to go:

1. Run on Center Field AT Turner Field

Ever wanted to know what it’s like to be down on the field rather than in the bleachers? Well here’s your chance. All 5K and One Mile participants finish inside Turner Field on the finish line at center field. This may be your last chance to experience Turner Field like never before. Register here.

2. Catch a game

All 5K registrations receive a ticket to a select, regular season game with the option to purchase additional tickets for friends or family. List of options

  • Saturday, June 11 (vs. Chicago Cubs)
  • Sunday, June 12 (vs. Chicago Cubs)
  • Saturday, June 25 (vs. New York Mets) games.

3. Stunt So Hard

In addition to finishing the 5K and One Mile on center field, anyone at the June 11th game is invited to walk in the pregame parade around the field.  Your friends are going to be so jealous when they see your Snapchat story or Instagram post of you, down on the field, before the game!

4. Hang with Homer.

Have you ever seen mascots race around a baseball field? It is absolutely hysterical. Now, you get to be up close and personal with the action. If you’re a fan of the home team, come out and run alongside Homer. Register here.

5. Free Post-Game Show!

Two options here. If you chose to attend the June 11th game, stay for the free post-game Jumbotron screening of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Or, wait a tad bit longer to attend the June 25th game and catch the post-game Flo Rida concert. Register here.

6. The Fun Run

With the 50m Dash, there’s a distance for everyone! The 5k may require more experience and the One Mile Race is a good distance for people that regularly walk their dogs. But the 50m Dash! That’s like walking to your mailbox and back.

7. Free Swag!

Atlanta Track Club always gives away free gear. They’re like the Oprah Winfrey of track clubs. Overall and age group winners receive special Braves-related awards and all participants receive a Mizuno performance shirt.. Register here.

8. Spectators are Welcome

Rather cheer than run or walk the race? Family and friends are allowed inside Turner Field to watch runners cross the finish line on the Jumbotron!

9. Free Chick-Fil-A

How are you not sold by this final, free offer? Okay, you’re a vegan. Well there will be post-race snacks and drinks but for those who love Chick-Fil-A, you know where we’re coming from. (sandwiches available while supplies last). Register here.

10. Celebrate Dad.

Father’s day is June 19th. What better way to spend time with dad than an on field experience at Turner Field? Run along side dad, catch a Braves game, or do both!

Registration cut off date is June 8th at 11:59 pm.
