AAA and Big C’s Chicago Kitchen Bring Meals to Metro Atlanta Kroger Employees

By Rick Limpert @RickRoswell · On April 20, 2020

Especially now, grocery store workers are often unappreciated for the service they deliver. These heroes help provide the food and supplies essential to sustain us all during these unprecedented times. In an effort to give back to those on the frontlines fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, AAA along with Big C’s Chicago Kitchen food truck will prepare and distribute meals onsite to Kroger employees at five designated grocery store locations for a week.

“We are proud to support the Kroger team members who work tirelessly to serve others,” said Sasha Marcinczyk, AAA’s Field Vice President. “This is a great way for AAA to say thank you to the essential workers that make sure our families have what they need to endure these tough times.”

“Our associates are on the front lines when it comes to ensuring customers have access to fresh food and supplies,” said Felix Turner, manager of corporate affairs for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. “All of us at Kroger would like to thank AAA for their kind generosity and this very meaningful gesture. It truly shows that we are all in this together and we will get through this together.”
