Atlanta Ranked No. 4 when it comes to Christmas Celebrations

The most wonderful time of the year is almost here. With Christmas being the most popular holiday in the U.S. and one of the most expensive – Americans are projected to spend up to $720 billion over the holiday season this year – the personal-finance website WalletHub this week released its report on 2018’s Best Places for Christmas Celebrations as well as accompanying videos.

To help Americans celebrate Christmas without breaking the bank, WalletHub compared the 100 biggest cities across 31 key metrics. The data set ranges from Christmas events per capita to average price per Christmas party ticket to shopping centers and outlets per capita.

Atlanta ranks No. 4 overall. Here is the breakdown.

27th – Avg. Price per Christmas Party Ticket
8th – Christmas Tree Farms per Capita
1st – Christmas Events per Capita
32nd – Toy Stores & Hobby Shops per Capita
28th – Christmas Markets per Capita
8th – Cost of Three-Star Hotel Room
50th – % of Christian Population
12th – Online Giving per Capita
