Field Takes Shape for this Weekend’s Greater Gwinnett Championship

Looking to see how your golf game stacks up with the best players in the world, but were unable to secure a badge to watch the Masters in person last week in Augusta?

You are in luck at the legends of golf tee it up this week at TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth for the Greater Gwinnett Championship, Presented by Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating.

PGA Champions Tour rookies Stephen Ames and Jesper Parnevik will try to get their first win on the Champions Tour. 2014 Greater Gwinnett Championship champion, Miguel Angel Jimenez, will return to defend his title. The current player field now boasts 321 PGA TOUR victories and 23 Major Championships.
The 2015 Greater Gwinnett Championship will take place April 13-19. The 54-hole stroke play tournament will feature 81 Champions Tour professionals competing for a $1.8 million purse. Tickets are available at greatergwinnettchampionship.com. Tournament play starts Friday and runs the entire weekend. Kid’s Day activities will take place Saturday afternoon.
