Mark Richt has been selected for the 2026 SEC Football Legends class, Georgia Athletics announced Thursday.
The former Bulldogs coach will be honored in Atlanta during the conference’s December 4–5 championship weekend. The schedule includes a Friday celebration at the College Football Hall of Fame and recognition before Saturday’s title game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Richt led Georgia from 2001 through 2015, winning SEC championships in 2002 and 2005. He finished his Bulldogs tenure with a 145–51 record, according to UGA.
