Mizuno Partners with Yoyo Ferro for ATL Collaboration

By Joshua Jelks @dynamitejimi · On June 8, 2017

ATLANTA – Today Mizuno announced it’s partnership with local Atlanta artists to design and release new custom design t-shirt concepts that feature the places and people that make Atlanta the great city it is. These limited edition, Atlanta-inspired t-shirts will be available only at the Mizuno Experience Center in The Battery Atlanta.

“Atlanta is such a creative city with so many unique points of view and styles,” said Becky Snider, general manager of the Mizuno Experience Center. “We’re excited to partner with artists who love calling Atlanta home as much as we do, and share that Atlanta spirit with our guests.”

The first artist collaboration is with Brazilian-born Yoyo Ferro. Ferro moved to Atlanta in 2010 and has become entrenched in the local art scene. His whimsical designs draw inspiration from the city, its places and people.

Ferro’s design for Mizuno is a black and white illustration of baseball players, fans and gear, highlighted by the Atlanta skyline. This design, along with one other, will be available starting Saturday, June 10 at the Mizuno Experience Center.

Ferro will be in store Saturday, June 10 from 1-5 p.m. featuring his 20-second blind contour sessions, looking at his subject rather than the paper.

T-shirts in this series will be sold only at the Mizuno Experience Center for $25.00.
