Petsense by Tractor Supply with Atlanta Area Pet Adoptions on August 27

Petsense by Tractor Supply (which has locations in Locust Grove, Covington, and Griffin) will be hosting a huge Food, Shelter & Love adoption and fundraising event on Saturday, August 27. They are trying to get the word out.

Talking to Matthew Rubin, SVP and GM of Petsense by Tractor Supply, this is a big event for the communities involved.

“We are so focused on the community. We do events all the time at everyone of our stores.”

The ASCPA reports that more than 23 million American households adopted a pet during the first year of the pandemic. More than 6 million animals enter shelters in the U.S. each year and only a little more than half are adopted. When shelters are crowded, it’s less likely that every animal will be seen or even adopted. But a specialty-pet chain is stepping up to give them a better chance at finding their forever humans.

The newly rebranded “Petsense by Tractor Supply” is joining the national Food, Shelter & Love adoption and fundraising event by activating in-store nationwide on Saturday, August 27. To sweeten the story, Petsense by Tractor Supply will also be hosting a contest on their Facebook page, requesting “Gotcha Day” stories to reward five lucky winners with a Petsense gift card. The fun is all to celebrate the pet-specialty retailers new name and activation of Tractor Supply’s award-winning loyalty program, Neighbor’s Club. Matthew Rubin, SVP and GM of Petsense by Tractor Supply, will be available for an interview to discuss:

More than 6 million animals enter shelters in the U.S. each year. To help these pets find a home, Petsense by Tractor Supply is celebrating its rebranding in stores nationwide by loving on pets and supporting Hill’s Pet Nutrition’s Food, Shelter & Love program.

Check with your local stores for more details and times.

“Our team members focus on their local communities. We make sure we are there to take care of our customers”
