Tornado Warning at GA High School Turned Into An Unexpected Concert

By Kelly Tran · On December 1, 2016

Last Wednesday, students at Bremen High School were forced to prepare for a potentially vicious tornado attack.

The tornado warning was striking an outcry of fear and worries as schools all throughout metro-Atlanta and it’s outskirts were forced to stop class to induct a severe weather procedure.

Students, faculties, and staff secured themselves in the enclosed hallways as they waited for the weather to pass.

Instead of fearful chaos, these chorus students remained calm as they sung an acapella version of “Mary Did You Know.”

The unexpected concert made its way on Facebook and his since hit over 250k views and 3.8k likes.

“So amazing to see these teens not afraid to let their light shine… incredible.” one Facebook user comments.

“This has me fighting back tears. Praying I am raising my children to have this same assurance in the midst of any storm they may face. Thank you!” another user states.

The halls were erupted with praise and applause after the choir finished singing and the principal announced that the storm had passed.
