5 Arrested From Clayton County’s “Bounty Hunters” After Robberies

ATLANTA (CBS46) –

Atlanta police arrested five people connected to the recent rash of robberies at auto parts stores and restaurants throughout metro Atlanta.

Investigators said the suspects are part of a gang based out of Clayton County known as “The Bounty Hunters.”
 

The Atlanta robberies occurred at multiple businesses dating back to January 2016. Investigators said the suspects targeted 11 businesses in Atlanta including Q-Time Restaurant, Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone, O’Riley Automotive and McDonald’s.

Police said they part of a robbing crew also responsible for at least 21 robberies in Clayton County, as well as robberies in Brookhaven, Chamblee, DeKalb County, Henry County, Riverdale, Lake City, and Morrow.



Atlanta police arrested Taraidan Gass, 19, and William Martin, 26. They are charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and aggravated assault. They are currently booked in the Fulton County Jail.

Clayton County police arrested Maurice Maddox, 17, and Raymond Flagg, 35. They are currently booked in the Clayton County Jail.

Brookhaven police arrested Eric Harris, 30. He is currently booked in the DeKalb County Jail.

Atlanta police will also charge Maddox, Flagg, and Harris with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and aggravated assault.
