Atlantan Ashwin Sinha is First to get iPhone 7 Locally

By Rick Limpert @RickRoswell · On September 16, 2016

While the lines may be shorter than in the past, still many diehards line up each year for the new iPhone.

Today marked the day for 2016, and about 10 Apple fanatics lined up before store opening at the AT&T store in Brookhaven to get the new smartphone.

Ashwin Sinha of Atlanta was the first person in line this time as he lined up at 5am. He is a longtime AT&T customer and self- proclaimed techie and iPhone fan who annually makes it a point to get the latest/greatest model. His prize today was the iPhone 7 Plus. He did pre-order one online, but was hoping to get one in person this morning.

AT&T is now selling the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the best, most advanced iPhone ever, featuring an all-new advanced camera system, dust and water resistant design, stereo speaker system and the A10 Fusion chip which is the most powerful chip on any smartphone while delivering the best battery life ever in an iPhone.

“We’re offering unbeatable deals and no overages,” said Glenn Lurie, president and CEO, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Operations. “We’ve got the network you can rely on, and are working to get you the best iPhone ever in one pocket without emptying the other. There has never been a better time to sign up for our service.”

Congrats to Ashwin and everyone that scored a new iPhone today.
