ATL Tennis Players Make Plans for Cliff Drysdale Tennis Retreat

By Rick Limpert @RickRoswell · On August 4, 2015

Atlanta tennis players looking to improve their game can experience unparallelled instruction and fun at the upcoming Cliff Drysdale Tennis Men’s Retreat in the Florida Keys.

The recently wrapped up BB&T Atlanta Open featured not only the best tennis players in the world as John Isner claimed his third singles title and the Bryan Brothers took the doubles crown, but also sell-out crowds and knowledgeable tennis fans from all over the region.

A recent survey said that in the last 12 months, more than 347,000 Atlantans have played tennis. As far a participation goes, Atlanta is the No. 1 tennis city in the country and won’t relinquish that title anytime soon, if ever.

Now, serious male tennis players from the metro area have a unique trip/experience they can take advantage of this fall.

the first annual Cliff Drysdale Tennis Men’s Tennis Retreat is not going to be your typical tennis fantasy camp.

Attendees should come ready to play tennis.

What is sure to be the tennis event of the fall will take place at Hawks Cay Resort in the beautiful Florida Keys.

Ashley Spicer-Lloyd, Cliff Drysdale Tennis Retreat Coordinator, says that there will be instruction, drills and matches to be played. All under the guidance of Cliff Drysdale Tennis certified professionals.

My experience with Cliff Drysdale Tennis events is you will work, but will improve and play some of the best tennis of your life. You will also have oodles of fun.

Award-winning Retreat Director Scott Colebourne and the CDT professional staff are ready for a packed three or four days.
“This is the ultimate experience in tennis, dining, and luxury at the Hawks Cay Resort in the Florida Keys,” explains Colebourne, who keeps a watch over his retreat attendees with an “eagle eye. If he sees that the group isnt having enough fun, he will inject some of his quck wit and comedy into the proceedings.

Accommodations for the mens-only retreat are oceanfront and off court activities include contests, games and even fishing.

Retreat includes:

Luxurious ocean front accommodations for your choice of 2 or 3 nights
Welcome happy hour and dinner
Daily breakfast
10 hours of tennis instruction, including drills, team competition, on-court match play & coaching
Players Party & awards presentation
Optional fishing and snorkeling excursions
