Best Bars/Pubs Outside of Atlanta

By Brad Smith · On October 22, 2014

People outside of Georgia seriously think that Atlanta is the only place you can have fun at in the whole state and that is completely wrong. There are other major cities in the state of Georgia and they have some great bars/pubs to have a drink. Here are some of the best bars/pubs in the state outside of Atlanta.

Athens

Home of the Georgia Bulldogs and considered to be one of the college towns in America. There is a plethora of bars in the downtown area that you can choose and we actually wrote about what each bar probably says about you. There are over about 80 bars in Athens to choose from and they’re pretty fun to go to. Here are a couple of them that you should consider.

Trappeze Pub

Exactly how a pub in a college town should be. With a huge selection of beers on tap and in bottles all at your disposal, Trappeze can satisfy the thirstiest of any college student with ease. Make sure you take off work or skip class.

Augusta

Augusta is most notably known for the Augusta National Golf Club that holds The Masters each year. It is underrated in having some good places to have a few drinks at. Especially around The Masters, you might can find some of your favorite golfers.

For the laid back type, this is the spot you’re looking for. Hookah and a nice cold one will start the night off very well for you and your friends.

Not one of the best cities to live or raise a family, but you can still come and have a good time. There is a good bit of bars to go check out and here are a couple that you should go have a couple of drinks.

Uptown Tap

This is for sure one of the best bars in Columbus. Uptown Tap can get crowded, but has a very laid-back crowd that comes through. Outside is a big open space to crank up the music and have a dance party!

Scruffy Murphy’s Irish Pub

Every time I am in Columbus, I make it my mission to stop by this spot. One of the most popular places on Broadway, this Irish Pub has everything you’re looking for. Come during some of the big events in town and you may not want to leave this pub.

I’m curious to find out what blog platform you have been utilizing? I’m having some small security problems with my latest site and I’d like to find something more risk-free. Do you have any suggestions?

This might be among the best mentions of this subject I’ve seen in a long time. It is obvious that the knowledge of the topic is deep and this made for a very fascinating read.
