Football season is here and for the second consecutive year, gaining rushing yards will lead to more than just wins for the Atlanta Falcons.

During the regular season, the Atlanta Falcons will donate $5 per rushing yard gained to Give to Grow Homes, a designated charity of the Players Philanthropy Fund. Founded by two Harry Norman, REALTORS® agents, Give to Grow Homes encourages transformational generosity by organizing the Atlanta Falcons’ rushing yard campaign charity and donating a portion of their commissions to the charities of their client’s choice. This year, the organization and Harry Norman, REALTORS® have selected Youth Enhancement Services Inc. (YES), an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization that provides alternative educational opportunities for disconnected youth, as their charity of choice for 2018.

YES develops and implements programs for underserved youth and their families to promote and maintain sustainable self-sufficient environments. In partnership with several other community organizations, YES offers GED classes and programs to expose participants to positive cultural and community activities. In addition, it assists program graduates with college tours, financial aid applications, college registration, course selection and study skills. YES further offers all program participants the opportunity to attend seminars on résumé building, interviewing, workplace etiquette and financial literacy.

“We are happy to be a part of such a wonderful cause,” says Tim Zulawski, chief revenue officer, AMB Sports and Entertainment. “Giving back is one of the core values of the Atlanta Falcons and all of the Blank Family of Businesses and we are thrilled to have this opportunity to help our partner, Harry Norman, Realtors® give back in such a profound and meaningful way.”

This is a win/win for everyone.

“Give to Grow Homes is honored to contribute to YES’ efforts to aid and shine a light on a group of youth that are often overlooked,” Give to Grow Homes Founder, Jasmine Butler, said.

Give to Grow Homes, a designated charity of the Players Philanthropy Fund, is a giving organization that encourages transformational generosity by organizing the Falcons’ rushing yard donation and donating a portion of their commissions to the charities of their client’s choice.

In 2017, the Harry Norman, REALTORS®-affiliated charity selected The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club of Greater Atlanta as the recipient of the Atlanta Falcons rushing yard donation. The money that was raised will allow approximately 100 children ages 17-19 to attend college tours this fall at several universities throughout South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. In addition, over the past year, Give to Grow Homes has donated to numerous charitable organizations including Hannah and Friends, Women in Need, Inc. and Golden Retriever Rescue of Atlanta.
