The Mitsubishi Electric Classic is metro Atlanta’s PGA TOUR Champions event and is held annually featuring legends of the game such as Tom Watson, Miguel Angel Jimenez, and Bernhard Langer. The Mitsubishi Electric Classic proudly stands as a premier golf tournament on the PGA TOUR Champions, but this event is much more than a golf tournament. The events and activities associated with the Mitsubishi Electric Classic provide an all-inclusive, entertaining atmosphere and the beautiful views of TPC Sugarloaf serve as a backdrop for world-class golf and provide the perfect venue to mingle with friends and business leaders while watching the legends of the game. This week’s event, which benefits local charities through the Gwinnett Championship Foundation Inc., has raised nearly $2 million since the first tournament in 2013

This week, historically one of the best fields on the PGA TOUR Champions circuit. Past winners have recorded a combined 46 PGA TOUR Champions titles, 14 PGA TOUR wins and 12 major championship victories.

Charity impact has reached nearly $2 million since 2013, and in 2017 Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett, one of the benefiting charities of the tournament, was named PGA TOUR Champions charity of the year.
