Moe’s Original ‘Alabama-style’ BBQ Opens in Peachtree Corners

Great BBQ in a comfortable setting, with a friendly staff and peach cobbler for dessert?

Count me in!

Award-winning Moe’s Original BBQ restaurant has opened another Atlanta area location at Wellington Center, address: 5005 Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree Corners. The almost 2000 square foot fast casual eatery BBQ establishment is open on Tuesdays-Sundays from 11am-9pm.

Come for the ribs and pork daily offerings and mouth-watering sides, but stay for the TVs featuring sports a comfortable layout and a great bar offering anything you want to quench your thirst.

But there is also a local angle here, so residents to the area will get the attention and food they want.

“Born, raised and currently living in Peachtree Corners, I always felt that this particular location would be a perfect fit for a Moe’s Original BBQ as it has the capability to service all of Peachtree Corners, Berkeley Lake and South Johns Creek,” said partner Harris Carlock. “So, I partnered with my cousin, Scott Carlock, who has an extensive restaurant background, as well as another Moe’s Original BBQ owner Kyle McCarter.”

Moe’s has been around since 1988.

Moe’s Original BBQ has been named in the Top 10 BBQ Chains in America by USA Today and The Daily Meal, one of the fastest growing, emerging restaurant chains by Restaurant Business Magazine, and one of the Top 10 Rib Joints in the U.S. by Relish. Served with red BBQ and Alabama white sauces, the award-winning smoked menu features pulled pork, ribs, wings, turkey and chicken as well as fish and shrimp selections. Prepared fresh daily, a rotation of 60 traditional Southern sides and house made desserts are also offered. Customers can dine in, take out, order delivery or enjoy catering for parties and events.

The ribs are excellent and I’m going to mention the peach cobbler again.

Each day there will be meal and sides specials, Saturday’s will feature a “brisket to die for.”

The menu features pork, chicken, smoked turkey, shrimp, catfish in sandwich form or platters. Remember anything on the Moe’s menu can be taken home and if you are catering an event, Moe’s offers a catering package to fit your needs.

If we are talking Alabama-style BBQ, that means we are talking white sauce. Moe’s white sauce is supposed to be for chicken and turkey, but if you don’t tell anyone, I’ll let you in on a tip.

It’s good on anything, especially the ribs.

Moe’s is open daily and they are holding a spot at the bar for you. The best Alabama-style BBQ in the area! Oh yea, they have peach cobbler too.
