Spend New Year’s Eve at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta

By Rick Limpert @RickRoswell · On December 27, 2015

Ring in the new year with friends and fellow revelers at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. For decades, this Hyatt property has set the standard for what a hotel should be and as always, customer service is their number on priority.

The Hyatt Regency Atlanta has announced two festive New Year’s Eve menus set to take place at two of the hotel’s unique culinary destinations. Have a safe new year and enjoy all the Hyatt Regency Atlanta has to offer.

First, beer-forward gastropub Twenty-Two Storys – located in the lobby of the hotel – will celebrate the Peach Bowl on Thursday, December 31, with peach-themed tailgating specials and libations named after each competing team’s mascot. Florida State fans can sip on a “Seminole sunrise” with tequila, orange juice and cherries, while their Houston counterparts can enjoy a special “Shasta” cocktail with vodka, peach liquor, lemonade and cherries. Round out the game day meal with a “game time burger” featuring grass-fed beef, shallot aioli, tomato, cheddar cheese, Benton’s bacon, Vidalia peach glaze and topped with onion rings.

Continuing on that evening, rocket up to Polaris for an elegant New Year’s Eve dinner with a side of 360-degree NYE firework views. The legendary rotating bar and lounge will be offering a $75 prix fixe menu ($100 with champagne/wine pairings). Menu highlights include a “cocktail from the sea” with chilled colossal shrimp, fresh stone crab claw, calamari, pineapple horseradish cocktail sauce; steak and lobster with sage and thyme rubbed beef tenderloin, wild mushroom ragout, butter poached lobster tail, saffron-infused hollandaise, Sweet Grass Dairy’s “heat cheese” risotto and wine braised kalettes; and a champagne and white chocolate mousse dessert with strawberry confit and vanilla bean sable crust. Please call 404.460.6425 to make reservations for the prix fixe menu. Polaris will also be offering its normal menu to walk-in guests.

Make your reservation now and have a great holiday season.
