Taste of Atlanta to Feature ‘Fourth Ward Cocktail’

By Rick Limpert @RickRoswell · On October 19, 2017

Khortytsa and LEAF, which are two of Global Spirits USA’s premium vodka brands, have been named the official vodkas for Taste of Atlanta 2017. Taste of Atlanta, October 20-22, is the city’s must-do food, wine, beer and cocktail festival that showcases the diversity of Atlanta restaurants and attracts food lovers from Atlanta, the Southeast and beyond. Over three days, more than 90 neighborhood favorites will show off their most craveable dishes, the hottest local chefs will strut their stuff on four live demo stages and Grand Tasting Experience patrons will hit boozy nirvana sampling craft beers, wine and creative cocktails.

Khortytsa is the largest vodka brand in Eastern Europe and has also joined Drinks International’s Millionaire’s Club, ranking among the top 3 largest vodka brands in the world. Khortytsa vodkas are produced at Ukraine’s famed Khortytsa Distillery, which is among the world’s best distilleries. The brand is named for Khortytsa Island, which is known as “the heart of Ukraine.” This ancient island’s history dates back thousand of years, to the very roots of civilization. It is considered a sacred place, and is one of the country’s seven wonders.

If you are attending Taste of Atlanta and are 21+, you should keep an eye out for the Fourth Ward cocktail.

“Atlanta is one of the largest vodka markets and has a growing mixology culture,” says Jim Amstutz, national sales manager, Global Spirits USA. “Khortytsa Vodka clearly integrates into the premium vodka genre, while LEAF’s packaging, price point and organic origins resonates with today’s consumer lifestyles.”

If you are interested in attending Taste of Atlanta it will be taking place between October 20-22 2017 in Historic Fourth Ward Park. Tickets are still available for the event and if you would like more information on all restaurants and additional events involved visit the Taste of Atlanta website.
