Who Wants to Fight Brian Moote from The Bert Show?

By Matt Thomas @mattthomas_ · On May 15, 2017

This November, Brawl for a Cause is going to be next level.

Last week, Brian Moote, co-host of Atlanta’s #1 morning radio show, The Bert Show, opened up a poll to their listeners:

“Should Brian Brawl for Bert’s Big Adventure in Buckhead Brawl?”

Listeners clicked and commented in droves, expressing their opinion on whether or not Brian should brave the ring. Some said that we only live once, so why not stand up to fight for what we believe in? Others took Mama-Moote’s side, wanting to protect her baby boy’s pretty face.

When the results were posted last week, Bert Show staffers and listeners were stunned.

54% of the voting listener base said NO! But, in true Bert Show fashion, Brian is taking on the challenge anyway, and tracking every step of the journey so we can all follow along.

The next step is finding a match for the Moote-Man. Think you have what it takes? Know someone who’s a perfect fit? Here’s his profile:

Brian Moote

Cause: Bert’s Big Adventure

Height: 6’3″

Current Weight: 230

Fight weight: 210

Boxing experience: A few kickboxing classes periodically over the years.

“The cause that I am boxing for is Bert’s Big Adventure which is the non-profit started by the Bert Show where we take kids with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families to Disney World. I love having the opportunity to take all of these kids to Disney World where for a weekend, they can just be normal kids, instead of the tough kids that they are having to battle illness and disabilities on a daily basis.”

“Currently, I am both excited and nervous for the fight. I love challenging myself to do new things, and climbing into the ring will definitely be a challenging experience. I am excited for the training process and learning both new skills and a lot about myself.”
