Bridges falling, highways buckling, the Falcons, Golden Glide closing, Waffle House founders passing… I just want my city back. For over 30 years Golden Glide has provided joy and entertainment for kids and adults that enjoy skating.
But unfortunately, DeKalb County’s Golden Glide has announced that they’ll be closing down in the near future.
According to Patch.com, “Golden Glide” trended across Twitter in the Atlanta area yesterday, an ominous sign that something was happening to the Decatur staple.
A call from GAFollowers to Golden Glide was made but ended abruptly after asking about the closing.
