Do It For The Vote

By GAFollowers @GAFollowers · On April 1, 2014
Georgia’s politicians are campaigning hard and we want youngsters to not only be informed but to get out and vote. Hence the title. Yea, it’s pretty corny but for real make your voice heard – Do it for the Vote. Diddy gets us all hyped during the presidential election but it’s our job to follow through.
The gubernatorial race is underway and a Senate seat is up for grabs. Voting for Georgia’s Democratic and Republican Primary will be held on Tuesday May 20th, 2014. So, to start getting you prepped we’re presenting the candidates running for governor in special way. (We’ll get to the Senate later). Just for fun, we paired each candidate with an Atlanta rapper to help you better acquaint yourself with our next potential governor.

Because of the last name, we wanted to go with Jigga. But it’s Everything Georgia so Future was a good choice, “we’re just being honest.”
For young Carter, it’s gotta be tough being the grandson of the 39th POTUS. But we like him. He’s relatable, understands the struggles people are going through, and has “love and affection” for our state.

Word on the street he’s a prospect. Hanging with the teachers and the politics. Haters want the seat be quiet. Catch Deal slipping from behind. Boop! OG John Barge! OG John Barge!
Que is hot trailing right behind some of the top artist. Barge’s campaign isn’t much different. All it takes is one more hit and they both might be on top.

“Hair long, money long, me and broke dudes don’t get along.” – 2 Chainz. Minus the hair, that pretty much sums up Governor Deal. There’s plenty versus he can relate well to. Remember 2 Chainz line in Bandz? “Money talks. You aint got none, end of discussion.”
It’s Travis Porter who said it best: “Broke people make me sick, throw up!” Deal suffers from the same allergic reaction which is probably why he tries so hard to keep healthcare limited to people like himself, the wealthy. Why do middle class and poor citizens need it when they’re the ones causing rich people to vomit all the time, right?

You’re probably wondering “why is Yung Joc? Is he even relevant?” Our point exactly.
