11 Alive reports:

“Just after 1:00 Monday, Major Stephen Adams with the Department of Natural Resources told 11Alive News two bodies had been discovered. One of the men was a kayaker found in a 12-acre private pond in Gordon County. He went kayaking on December 26th, and was reported missing Sunday. His identity has not been released. The other man was found inside a car near the flooded Reeve Station Road area. According to DNR officials, they believe he drove around barricades that had been blocking cars from driving through the flooded area. He’s been identified as George Treadaway, a man in his 60s.”
